Stick Shift Magazine #1 now available in Magazine Rack

Stick Shift MagazineHi There. Finally after a lot of creepy geeky editing and conversions, we have finally got Stick Shift Magazine No1 in the Magazine Rack and available to read. Others will follow soon. If any parts look a bit wonky, it is due to the conversion process, not Craig Clement’s original rendition. Enjoy the retro experience.
Cheers,
Eric Warren

Visitors Guest Book added

hot-rodders-guest-book.jpgThrough the mysterious results of trial and error I have managed to add a guest book to this Cyber Hot rodder web site. You can go there too, even if you are not so cyber, just a regular everyday Joe or hot rodder or merely have an interest in this great hobby.
To get there and leave your smart intellectual comment, an opinion, shopping list, dry cleaning reminder,or just your name, check the link on the left that says “Guest Book” or click here. When finished hit the “back” arrow to return.
You can also go there to leave your details if you want to get reminders when new KLAXONs are available, or if you have changed your email address. REMEMBER, other visitors will also be able to read the comments and details left.
I am looking forward to checking your spelling.
Be in good health,
Eric Warren

Bonneville Speed Week in the August Klaxon.

aug_2009_klaxon_cover.pngBonneville Speed Week has just finished.  Jim Ireland cruised about 1900 miles in his 33 Plymouth coupe to the salt flats of Bonneville to lend a hand and take in the action.  This month’s Klaxon has a few pictures and a snippet or two of Jims’ few days on and off the salt.  I hope you enjoy it.
The AUGUST 2009 KLAXON is available now from the Klaxon Magazine Rack options to the left.   Enjoy.
About two weeks ago I emailed out the first “WESTERN LINK” newsletter.  It’s purpose is to be a relatively short  text to advise all Western Australian rodders of the latest news, coming events and classifieds. It will be published once or twice a month depending upon what content is available. It is for anyone who wants it, regardless of your hot rodding affiliations.   I have had some great feedback about the first one.
If you did not receive it first hand or you know of anyone who should get it, send your email or get them to send theirs  to westernlink@westernrodder.com
Likewise, if you are having an event that you want to publicised, send the details to the same email address. Same for buys & sells etc.
If you didn’t receive a reminder email that the August Klaxon was available, send your email address to klaxon@cyberhotrodders.com
In less than two weeks we have the Western Australian State Title Hot Rod Show atthe  Burswood Dome on August 29-30,   followed closely by the Father’s Day Hot Rod show on 6th September at St Patrick’s School in Fremantle. Heaps to do as we drag ourselves out of winter and head towards the summer hot rod season.
Catch you next time.
Eric Warren.
